Our Team
Pastor:
Jeremiah Graham joined Central's staff in December of 2019. He and his wife Nicole have four children, Emma, Jackson, Lucas, and Grace. Jeremiah is passionate about revitalizing the gospel message within the heart of the church and equipping believers for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16). In his spare time he likes riding dirt bikes, skateboarding, hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family. Jeremiah serves as the lead pastor providing messages every Sunday and by leading our school year youth programs and activities. Secretary: Angela Conn serves under the title secretary but wears many hats here at Central. Angie is in charge of our Sunday Schools and Sunday morning media productions as well as our summer youth programs and activities and is a significant part of most of our events throughout the year. Angie has two children, Olivia and Ryan, with her husband Chris who is also one of our elders. Elders: Chris Conn enjoys hunting, fishing, mowing, and spending time with his family, Olivia and Ryan (children) and wife (Angela). Chris and his family are long time members of Central and its ministry. Eric Huddleston (right) is our head elder and a long time member of Central Christian Church. He enjoys spending his retirement at Rural King, making Kettle Corn, and not knowing a stranger. If you have been around Charleston for long you are likely to have met Eric once or twice! Eric and his wife Linda also enjoy serving at Central and spending time with their grandchildren. George Moody (Co-Treasurer) (left) was baptized into Christ March of 1967 at Central Christian Church. He joined the US Navy for 4 years and after his term of service joined the Norfolk and Western Railroad and his job took him all over the U.S. in 1995 George married his wife, Linda, and they had 4 children and now 4 grandchildren. George and Linda moved back here to Charleston in 2003. George has a great heart for staying in touch with the congregation here at Central Christian Church and deeply loves all who he meets. George uses his love for meeting people to drive a school bus here in Charleston meeting and bettering Charleston's students every day. Founded in 1963 Central Christian Church has been a part of the community for over 50 years. We aim to come alongside our community in whatever ways God has blessed us to be able to in order to help the growth and development of our community not only physically but spiritually. For fifty more years and beyond we seek to continue to grow, adapt, and move the gospel forward in Charleston Illinois and beyond.
